Our club currently has two crews training, an all womens crew and a mixed crew. You can enjoy some great exercise out doors and the fun camaraderie of great team work, why not come and JOIN us - you'll be so glad you did !!!  COME WAKE THE DRAGONS!

BOAT TRAINING SESSIONS 


OCTOBER  2008

Mondays = 8:30am + 5:00pm

Wednesdays = 8:30am + 5:00pm


Saturdays = 7:30am

ALL THESE TIMES ARE "ON THE WATER" so be there 15 minutes beforehand.


The DSD Race Crew came 1st, 2nd & placed 3rd overall in Cyprus at the Limassol International Dragon Boat Festival against the Russian Forwards, Greek Spartans & 8 other teams! WELL DONE DSD RACE CREW!!

Training is held at the Mina Seyahi Dubai (formally DIMC) Marina.

New comers are most welcome! Contact Debbie Magee - If you are interested & can make at least one of the training sessions then we want to hear from you....Come and wake the Dragons with us!

PFDs  (Personal Flotation Device)

The new club PFDs have arrived back from the printers and look great!  They are very light to paddle in with little restriction.  Ask Debbie for one at Dhs 150 each.


JUNIOR DUBAI SEA DRAGONS!

The Dubai Sea Dragons - Junior Crews! Now Paddling with the Senior Crew on Saturday's at 7:30am & Wednesday Evenings at 5:00pm  - So get your school friends together and come Dragon Boating!  Open to Grade 8 - Grade 11 High School Students. Grade 12 is considered Adult Crew.

Dragon Boating is in the Physical/Recreation section of the Duke Of Edinburgh Award Scheme & the Dubai Sea Dragons are here to support you in this worthy endevour.
